Any Personal Data provided by you on the website, is collected and used by Sanmarga Trust in compliance with the obligations specified under the Personal Data Protection Act No. 2 of 2022 and exclusively for the following purposes:
- To contact you to understand how you would like to donate to or otherwise support Sanmarga Trust
- To provide any information you have requested.
- To keep you notified of any changes to our on-going projects or to the structure of Sanmarga Trust if relevant and to update you on any new projects or opportunities for support
Sanmarga Trust shall not store or use any Personal Data for any other purposes without your consent or as required by law.
Sanmarga Trust shall in no event sell, trade, or disclose to third parties any of your Personal Data.
- Remove or vary your Personal Data
You retain control of how we use your data. You can unsubscribe from our mailings, or you can request us to remove you from our contact list, at any point. We will then ensure that all your Personal Data is erased from our records and systems subject to any legal requirement for retaining the Personal Data for audit purposes or otherwise.
In the event you find that in our communications to you, your Personal Data appears to be incorrect or inaccurate, you may request us in writing to rectify or complete the said Personal Data. We will take steps to rectify/complete the same immediately.
- Third-Party links and pop-up advertisements
The website may contain links to other websites of interest. Once you use these links to leave the Sanmarga Trust website, please note that Sanmarga Trust does not have any control over such other websites or advertisements and Sanmarga Trust shall not be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites. The Privacy and Data protection of our website visitors who are resident in the European Union comply with all European Union regulations on Data Protection and privacy including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Privacy Policy.
